Parker Sisters Ranch would not be possible without the volunteers. There is and always will be a need for more volunteers. If you are looking for a rewarding nonprofit to plug into, we would love to have you. We are so thankful for any amount of time our volunteers can give. Training in all areas is provided.
Some of the areas we need volunteers:
- Grooming, exercising and/or riding the horses (Training provided)
- Mucking stalls and paddocks
- Care of tack and equipment
- Horse care – Feeding and cleaning water troughs once a week
- Pasture mowing
- Arena upkeep
- Fundraising Team
- Event Planner
- Admin – experience with Excel, Word, Publisher helpful
- Riding Instructors (Training provided)
- Equine Specialists/Horse Handlers on program days (Training provided)
- Mentors – Training provided
- Monthly scheduled work days
- Licensed Counselor – experience or knowledge of Equine Therapy or a willingness to gain experience in Equine Therapy.
We need experienced riders to help keep the horses happy and healthy by exercising them on a regular basis. We provide training for consistency.
